The End Of An Era

It has finally happened. Brett Farve announced his retirement today. I know plenty of Bears, Vikings, and Lions fans who couldn't be happier today. They believe that their losing ways against the Packers are over now that we don't have #4 slinging the ball around the field. They are sadly mistaken. Not that Aaron Rogers is a franchise quarterback but he is good enough to use the weapons around him and win plenty of games. Just look at what Eli Manning accomplished and all he had to do is not make a mistake. It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Brett. Thanks for all the great memories. I am sure it will be many generations, if ever, before we have a quarterback of that talent and humility playing for us. It was a great ride. Who knows what the future will hold for the Packers in the ex-Farve era.....
