Christmas at Nonnie's and Grandpa's house

Santa's coming to get you.
Isaac playing with the train under the Christmas tree.
Nope, doesn't taste like a real apple.
Where are my reindeer? Where's Stanley when you need him?
This is a singing Christmas tree stuffed animal. It's mouth moved when it sang and Isaac loved putting his finger in the mouth and watching it bite his finger.
Shortly after the tree bit his finger. It's ok, no splinters from this tree.

Tyler is a college grad!

I have to give my brother mad props. He is working a full time job, raising two kids with another one on the way, does numerous large home construction projects, and still managed to triple major at Viterbo University taking night classes. He is amazing. The whole family went to the graduation. Unlike Madison, they take the time to read every one's name and what they majored in at school. When Tyler's name and majors were read I heard a couple of people around me say "Wow, three majors!" They don't even know all the other stuff going on in his life. WAY TO GO TY!
With the Stapleton men in the house(bar), it always calls for a shot of Tequila. God I hate that stuff. To think, it used to be my shot of choice when I was a freshman at UW-Madison. Wait, I mean, when I was a junior at UW-Madison and I was 21 years old.

Naked Time!

Ok, not quite naked but close. Here is Isaac after he as ripped his baby monitor from the wall and brought it to daddy to show him what a good job he did.
He proceeded to drag the chord around the house looking for place to plug it in. The kid is absolutely fixated with electronics and plugs. He gravitates to remotes, TV's, video games, computers, what ever requires power. He also posses an uncanny knack for being able to disable a TV or computer with the push of one button. Seriously, he touches the TV remote and it takes me five minutes trying to figure out how to undo what ever he just did. I swear the other day he had the remote and was able to change the channel, start recording a cartoon, and almost delete a show we had recorded all in about ten seconds. This kid is going to be scary once he really knows what he is doing. I am sure by the time he is ten I will be asking him how to fix the computer.

The Banana Wave!

Isaac has been in the habit of putting his hands into his hair. This does not normally have a noticeable effect, unless he has just got done eating and has food on his hands. If he is eating spaghetti, this requires a bath. In these pictures he had just had a banana for a snack. So in case your in a pinch and run out of hair gel, you can always use a banana.

Isaac with his "banana horn" turning on the space heater, then turning it off, then turning in on, repeat until we remove him from the area of the space heater.
Droopy eyes means its almost nap time.
Ed Grimley's long lost son? You be the judge.
Ed Grimley, lets hope Isaac grows up to be a little bit more attractive than Ed.

Just call me Lazy

As you know its been quite a while since I last posted any pictures of Isaac. There are a few reasons for this fact. One, he is now constantly on the move and nothing is safe in the house anymore. So by the time he is asleep we are exhausted. Second, and the more likely reason...I have been really lazy! So it has been brought to my attention that I have been depriving the American public of new pictures of Isaac. So here we go..

Bono

Isaac with his Bono sunglasses on. Believe it or not, he was smiling when I started to take this picture. I think the expression I capture is a cross between a smile and blinking at the flash.

Isaac offering to let me try on his sunglasses.

Bono, I am not.

Traveling in the great states of Nebraska/Iowa

Here is the typical scene driving through Iowa and Nebraska. Seven hours of long straight roads with brown cornfields on both sides of the road. Exciting, let me tell you.

While we were trying to take a picture of the boring scenery we actually got some beautiful pictures of the sun and clouds. Go figure..

Amazing, gas for $1.54, when less than two months ago we were paying close to $4.15. I never thought I would see gas below two dollars.

We were showing Isaac the animals on my Aunt and Uncle's farm. Here are some cows.
Cats, and they are not spayed or neutered. I counted 28 cats around the food bowl.
