Chucky E. Cheese

Motto: Where a kid can play with filthy toys in a room that is 128 degrees.

We thought it would be fun to take Isaac to Chuck E Cheese on a cold winter Friday night. So did 150 other parents. The place was packed and it quickly turned into a heat box. It made me think of the boxes they put Navy seals in during the summer months for training.

The test...I used to (and still do) hate Barney with a passion. It started in middle school when he was at his most popular and in every commercial. I always feared that one of my kids would like Barney and I would be forced to watch and or listen to Barney shows. Isaac had his first exposure to Barney and.... he could have cared less. Yeah me!
Isaac driving with Bob the Builder.
Isaac loved being behind a plastic wall. He put his mouth on the wall. God only knows how many kids that done the same thing. I think all kids need a tetanus shot after they go to a place like this.
A game where you pretended to call someone. Isaac really enjoyed this game.
Here he is trying to take the receiver with him.
That is when the temper broke out. When he reached the end of the chord and it pulled back he decided to let the machine know who is boss. Here he is about to hit the machine with the phone.
Then he dropped the phone and washed his hands of the whole thing.
He was absolutely enthralled with the animatronics. I think he was trying to decide if he liked them or if he should run away screaming. I have to admit, those things are a little creepy, especially when some of their parts don't work.
Jackpot, he loved pulling the handle on this game.
