Mark and Carol went with us to Onalaska to enjoy the summer weather boating on the Black and Mississippi Rivers. They did this last year with us only to have crappy weather and little time on the boat. This time would be different....or maybe not. We got on the boat around 1pm on Saturday. Within the first 5 minutes it proceeded to rain. Luckily, after the rain stopped the sun came out for a little bit. Still not the gorgeous weather we were hoping for that weekend. Someday we will take them boating and we will get good weather.
Mark excited that the sun finally came out!
Even though it was only OK weather it didn't prevent us from drinking a beverage or four.
We came back from boating to find that my parents had broken a cardinal rule and put Isaac in sandals with socks on. We laughed to ourselves because friends of ours had just sent out an email pointing this fashion no no out to everyone. The best part was our friend Matt, who sent the email out, is a habitual offender of this rule.
