Potsdam

Atlas with the world on his shoulders
Mike and a Smart Car. It seriously looks like those toy cars that you pull backwards and then they go shooting off. By the looks of things, I don't think it would be a comfortable ride for Mike.
Sanssouci Palace- this place was huge. You could walk in it all day and not see everything. It was the summer home of Frederick the Great.
Natural covered walkways that led from one garden to another.
One of the many gardens and fountains with in the palace grounds.
Heather and I in front of some foliage
A windmill that was used to make grain on site for the palace
Sunlight on a statue of an angel
The guest house of the summer palace. The buildings were just as incredible as the gardens themselves. I wouldn't mind spending the summer in this palace.
The main house of Frederick the Great. The was the most impressive thing I saw in Potsdam.
A closer picture so you can see the detail and the grand length of the stairs leading to the palace. We didn't go into any of the buildings, most of which are now museums. There was just too much to see outside and it was a beautiful day.
